they wound us

………………………..stacked in a diorama we see
………………………..above and below the ground
………………………..a double fugue…..a small seed
………………………..is trying to grow……..into beauty
we’re missing something

Rose Maloukis is a poet and visual artist. Her poetry has been shortlisted for an international award, won prizes from both Geist and ARC, and been published in The Fiddlehead, The New Quarterly, and various chapbooks.
