VALLUM CHAPBOOK AWARD

WINNING CHAPBOOK:

$300 & Publication plus 25 copies of chapbook

 

ENTRY FEE:
$25 for Canadian entrants, $30 for U.S. and international entrants. Submissions and
payments are processed through Vallum’s Submittable account.
We do not accept submissions via regular mail.
If you have any questions about the submission process or you need to withdraw your

POEMS FROM THE CROWD

Submissions are accepted from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. There is no fee to submit your work.

Submission Requirements:

Poems: Submit up to 3 poems, max 60 lines each.

Format: Please include your poem and a short poet’s bio in a single Word document.

Selection and Notification:

The selected poems will be published in the digital magazine, which will be featured on our website and social media.

Vallum Poetry has paused the publication of print and digital issues of the magazine: Vallum: Contemporary Poetry. Check out our archives and maybe buy a print copy while they are still available. We continue to publish chapbooks, reviews of poetry books, interviews, hold contests, and to expand our Outreach poetry program. Thank you for your support!
