$25 for Canadian entrants, $30 for U.S. and international entrants. Submissions and
payments are processed through Vallum’s Submittable account.
We do not accept submissions via regular mail.

Guidelines for the “POEMS FROM THE CROWD” Series
Submissions are accepted from September 15, 2024 to January 15, 2025. There is no fee to submit your work.
Submission Requirements:
Poem: Submit one poem with a maximum length of 40 lines.
Format: Please include your poem and a short poet’s bio in a single PDF document.
Email Subject: Format your subject line as follows: Full Name - Poems from the Crowd 2025.

We continue to publish chapbooks, reviews of poetry books, interviews, hold contests, and to expand our Outreach poetry program. Thank you for your support!
Vallum strongly encourages Indigenous writers, writers of colour, gender non-conforming writers, differently abled writers, LGBTQI2S+ writers, writers with mental or physical illnesses, and writers who are otherwise affected by structural inequality to submit their work for consideration.
